Classic Tales Lenormand cards

Tales by Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, Charles Perrault, Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, Joseph Jacobs and  Antoine Galland are used for this Lenormand deck. 

Classic Tales Lenormand cards are illustrated with vintage images from the beginning of 20th century. 

Marie Anne Adelaide Lenormand (1772–1843) was a French necromancer, fortune-teller and cartomancer of considerable fame during the Napoleonic era. In France, Lenormand is considered as the greatest cartomancer of all time, highly influential on the wave of French cartomancy that began in the late 18th century. After Lenormand's death her name was used on several cartomancy decks. This included a deck of 36 illustrated cards historically known as the Petit Lenormand.
