The Victorian Era marked a period of social, economic, political, and scientific advancements in Great Britain. It spans the sixty-three-year reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901), who served as the guiding torchlight for the nation amidst the darkness. With political and economic advancements looming in this era, the emergence of the language of love was also distinct. This popularised idea of “love at first sight” these days has its roots tracing back to the Victorian Era.
